This website has been set up and designed by young Republicans from Derry. We felt the need to start this website up to acknowledge the contribution and the sacrifices, the Volunteers of the past and present have made to the cause of Irish Freedom. We must not forget either the loss of civilian life in this city with the atrocities such as Bloody Sunday. We would also like to give thanks to our comrades in Newry who have also designed a site like this. You can find their website on the links tab. 

Derry City has always bore the brunt of the occupation of the six counties, The resistance and the brotherhood of the people of Derry at the worst of times is admirable and should be an inspiration to all Republicans. This city alone has provided the Republican movement with some of the most dedicated and uncompromising Volunteers Ireland has seen, Those men and woman, from the IRA and the INLA who died to free the Irish people provide inspiration to Young Republicans to carry on the deeds that they left behind for future generations.

We feel today more than ever as Young Republicans, the need to spread the message of Irish Republicanism amongst our young people because of the scourge of drugs, alcohol etc in our society. We hope that in the near future this can be the starting block for something bigger for all Young Republicans in the city.

We hope that this site will be used for constructive debate from the wide ranges of the Republican spectrum. We encourage active debate regarding the politics of today and our hopes for the future from both young old.
